Lauren Conrad

Bio

Lauren Conrad is the author of three books in the L.A. Candy trilogy, which includes New York Times bestseller L.A. Candy, Sweet Little Lies, and Sugar and Spice. October 2010 saw the release of Conrad’s fashion book, Lauren Conrad Style.

Another three-book series, The Fame Game, will be published by HarperCollins. Conrad’s forthcoming titles, The Fame Game to be released in April 2012, and Starstruck to be released in November 2012, are a spin-off of the L.A. Candy series.

In addition to her writing career, Conrad juggles her fashion, film, and television careers. Her three fashion lines include the Lauren Conrad Collection, LC by Lauren Conrad and Paper Crown which launched in stores in fall 2011. Conrad's television and movie career kick-started her success with her reality shows, Laguna Beach: The Real Orange Country and The Hills. She is now taking the next step in her career by started her own production company, Blue-Eyed Productions, to produce the film based on her L.A. Candy book series. Conrad also announced that she plans to star in another reality show that will focus on her blossoming fashion career rather than her personal life.

Lauren Conrad has won a Teen Choice Award each year from 2006-2009 in the category of Choice Female Reality TV for The Hills and was nominated for the same award in 2010. Conrad has appeared in television shows and movies, including Greek, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Epic Movie, and Family Guy. Her next beauty book, Lauren Conrad Beauty, is forthcoming in 2012.
