I'm not big on historical (okay...I mostly hate it and steam punk) but so far I've liked The Gathering Storm, set in Russia in the late 1800s. I also like western/the time of cowboys and the wild west. I'd say that would be my fav, and the only one I truly enjoy, of course the fact that the book was part sci-fi and paranormal helped too. Cowboys and zombies! (Dead Reckoning)

Always been a fan of Victorian England and 1920s. Ever since I've read Shadow and Bone I've become interested in Russian history.

I've always love the Victorian era/ late 1800's, it's one of my favourite time periods. Medieval is really good too, though, and ancient civilizations can be interesting.

Victorian Style but also I would say 1800-1940-50's.

I'm a huge lover of history, so me and historical fiction have always sort of been on rocky terms. My favourite period however is the French Revolution. It's just such a gold mine! It has the perfect balance of royalty and bloodshed. There's tragedy, but also triumph and yet it's full of interesting people. So far of the historical fiction I've read the books about the French Revolution have by far been the best and that may very well be part of it. I keep waiting for a good book about vaudeville and the early days of Hollywood or silent films, but so far no luck.

I am not very knowledgable when it comes to certain historical eras but from books I've read I really enjoy 1800 British and Scottish eras. They are always very intriguing. I think it's definitely the time period I would go back to if I had the chance. BRING ON THE BALL GOWNS!

Without a doubt, Victorian and medival. Clockwork Angel seems to be the biggest trend in YA lit; I really liked it, but idk about Clockwork Prince. I'm nervous to read it...
